New Patients

Becoming a cancer patient is usually unexpected, can be stressful and overwhelming. In our practice, we try to inform and guide patients and families on how we work-up cancer patients, what materials we will need to interact with them and how they can help us gather the necessary information.

We can interact with patients at different levels depending on what the patient is looking for (i.e., full evaluation, second opinion, second opinion at a distance, etc). Some patients want us to take care of all their oncology needs and for that they will need to come visit us for an in person evaluation, other patients may not be able to travel and may want an opinion at a distance. In this section you will learn what you need to bring or send for us to be able to establish or confirm a diagnosis, staging, and recommend a treatment strategy.
